The heating element provides additional heat to the smoker, allowing LOW, MEDIUM and HIGH smoke level settings even when the grill is at higher cooking temperatures. IF the heating element is not connected these settings will not be available.
Turn ON Heating Element
In the Menu, navigate to ACCESSORIES, and ensure Heating Element is set to YES.
Test Operation
To test if the heating element is operating, navigate in the menu to TEST GRILL > AUTO TEST, and run through the component test. See video below.
