If grease is leaking inside or from the front of the Trimal S1 grill , the culprit is incomplete corners welds in the grease drain or grease bin, respectively, which grease can leak through.
These can be fixed (sealed up) with silicone sealant (white or clear) which is easy to apply and can withstand high temperatures.
Small tubes of silicone sealant are widely available from hardware stores or online – and of course we can reimburse you the cost. If not able to complete this repair, then of course we can send you out a new bin or grease drain!
We apologise for this problem and will definitely be paying extra attention to this aspect of the welding moving forward!
Fixing Leaking Grease Bin
Follow the steps below to seal up the grease bin.
- Wash the grease bin out with dish washing detergent and hot water.
- Use a blow drier or place in the sun to fully dry out.
- Seal the corners with clear or white waterproof silicon sealant.
- Wait 24 hours to dry.
